Chicago Cultural Plan

Building some probes to find out about culture in Pilsen:

with David McGaw as an outstanding and truly funny MC,

 full of interesting and at times quirky stories,

well received by the audience that made it into the sold out show.

People's Music School

A while ago, but very nice:
The Chicago "People's Music School" hosted a Gala to celebrate their 36th birthday and as we did some consulting work for them in a workshop last semester we were invited to celebrate with them.
They held it right on the stage of the Pritzker Pavillion in Millenium Park, quite stunning:

Wowzy! Way to go Zahra and Derek! Godspeed for the last 10 days.
For anyone how is not familiar with Kickstarter: these two happy designers came up with the above accessory for the iPhone, made a video and uploaded it to Kickstarter to raise start up funding. And from the $10,000 they calculated they would need for a first run they raised close to $150,000 within about a month.
Now hush hush of to China to get those laser cut! We are waiting. :)
